Hey. I started a map (not sure what I plan it to be like yet), nothing too serious but I hope I can make it more serious, but I ran into perhaps an odd problem;
I can make a one-cube-shape map with a ceiling that denies Air Support from FO, or a "sky" that allows Air Support, but the "sky" is totally solid gray, looks like the "void" I read about.
For the flooring, I can't get a ground possible or Engy landmines (when I test this it always shows me with 0 landmines for some reason.
I test this non-modded on etmain. If someone with mapping know-how's like Rayban or anyone has some help to offer, that'll be cool, I'd even "share the wealth" if BBA is interested someday to run a map I make, and since it'd be right if I get the help here.
Just to note, I already asked at Splashdamage website the big cheese of ET, got a reply with 2 links, helpful but couldn't find this on either link.
Thank you. _________________ Pron: It's porn for the dyslexic.
If I remember right, you will not get airstrikes or be able to see mortar strikes until your map has a tracemap.
As for the landmines, there are certain terrain shaders that will allow landmines. Those must have a surface parameter for landmines. You can make your own shader to do this or use the basic ones that are included in ET. I think that the shaders in Radiant have a red thin box around the textures. _________________
